Monday, August 11
Tours daily on Lac La Belle
Explore the rich history and beautiful architecture of the historic homes and mansions built during Oconomowoc's gilded age. These 45 minute tours on pontoon boats are a delightful trip back in time with local historian narrators that all bring their own touches and fun historic tidbits to their tour. Wednesday, August 13
7:30pm, City Beach bandshell.
The Legion Band is one of Oconomowoc's treasured traditions. In its 101st year of performing, the Legion band gives off the Rockwell vibe playing in the historic band shell on the shores of Lac La Belle. Grab your family and friends. Gather your picnic blanket and treats and settle in on the park grass for a delightful Wednesday evening concert. The August 13 concert theme is Big Band Night.
Thursday, August 14
5pm, Fowler Park
Outdoor movie in the park on a giant screen! Grab you blankets and chairs and head to Fowler Park Thursday evening to grab a great spot for the show. Thursday's movie is, "A Minecraft Movie." Activities and vendors begin at 5pm. A waterski show by the Badgerland Waterski Show team begins at 7pm. Movie begins at dark, around 9pm.
5-9pm, Village Green
Soak up a summer evening downtown in Village Green Park on Fowler Lake. August's beer garden features Hop Haus Brewing Co. Also on tap is a commemorative beer in celebration of Oconomowoc's 150th Anniversary. Local brewer, Steel Tank, created Ole's Summer Lager. The beer was brewed using historic methods and the name is a nod to the inventor of the Evinrude motor who lived in the Oconomowoc area. Also featured is trivia starting at 6pm and food by Mr. P's Grilled Cheese and Just Smokin' BBQ food trucks.
Friday, August 15
5-9pm, Village Green
Friday's garden features live music by Hey Julie! and food trucks, Dough Nation WI and Kim's Pizza.
Bands at the Beach
7:30pm, City Beach bandshell
Buddy's Beach Bungalow rocks the dock presenting 80s tribute band, The Decade, Friday night. Grab a good spot at City Beach Park and enjoy the show. Concessions on site by Buddy's.
Saturday, August 16
10am-5pm, Fowler Park
The Festival of the Arts is one of Oconomowoc's top summer traditions. This juried art fair features more than 70 artists from around the country. The event is free. It also features live music, food vendors and student art. Getting to the park is easy. A free pontoon shuttle offers a unique way to get there. Park behind City Hall at 174 East Wisconsin Avenue and get on the boat at the Fowler Lake boat launch adjacent to the parking lot. The festival also offers free shuttles from various parking lot locations outside the event area. Check out their website for all the details on this wonderful event.
5-9pm, Village Green
Saturday's garden features live music by the Loman Duo and food trucks, Quincy's Waffle Wagon and Say Cheese Curd Company.
7-10pm, City Beach Park, Lac La Belle
In celebration of all things Festival Week, Light Up Lac La Belle is an evening hit. Enjoy a special concert by the Oconomowoc American Legion Band beginning at 7:30pm. At dark, enjoy a lighted boat parade. Anyone with a vessel is invited to enter the boat parade. After the boat parade a fireworks show will launch over Lac La Belle. Grab a great spot at City Beach Park for the event.
Sunday, August 17
10am-5pm, Fowler Park
