Winter Farmers Market: The folks at Wisconsin Brewing Company Park, home of the Lake Country Dockhounds, stay busy coming up with ways to keep having fun there. The latest is by bringing an indoor, winter farmers market; a definite need in the area.

The Dockside Market: 10am-2pm: Jan. 11, 25; Feb. 8, 22 and March 8 and 22

Oconomowoc Library: If you haven't tuned into all the things going on at the Oconomowoc Library, you should! You'd be amazed at the amount of things to do for all ages. January lineup includes such things as after school meetups for tweens, papercraft parties, Curiosity Club, Laughter Yoga, a stuffed animal sleepover and so much more! They've loaded them all on our calendar, or you can pop over to their website to check it out.

Paint the Kiltie: You don't have to miss your beloved summer treat spot because you can bring it home as a work of art. Join local artist Anjil Rodee in a guided painting workshop of The Kiltie drive in. This fun activity is Thursday evening, January 15 at the Oconomowoc Museum and Historical Society. Check it out and register.

Saturday morning Yoga: Our friends who host Yoga on the Green in summer, enjoy guiding some zen for a good cause so much, they extended their charitable yoga through winter inside the Oconomowoc Community Center. If you'd like to get some yoga in, head there with a suggested donation of $10 and enjoy an hour of yoga from 8-9am. Class meets in the lower level of the Community Center.

Free Trivia: Oconomowoc race company Silver Circle Sports Events often comes up with some fun alternate events you don't have to lace up for, and Silver Circle Trivia is just that. Grab your friends and dust of the old brain for Silver Circle Trivia at Lucky Chucky's Saturday, Jan. 17. The event is free, but they ask you register so they can make sure you have a seat and plenty of prizes! Register here.

Revolutionary War living-history performance:  Experience the remarkable true story of Christopher Ludwig, German immigrant who rose to become the Continental Army’s “Baker-General” under George Washington. Through vivid storytelling and period costume, Reich brings to life Ludwig’s impact on America’s fight for independence. Check it out at the Oconomowoc Museum and Historical Society Saturday morning, January 31.

Chili Fest: Do not miss this event in downtown Oconomowoc. The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce opened ticket sales, Jan. 7. No guarantees they are still available, but hurry, go to this link to get them before they sell out. Chili Fest is a great Oconomowoc winter tradition that gets you out of the house the last Saturday in January to taste delicious chili AND if interested, sample some Bloody Marys, too. Event runs 11am to 3pm at participating businesses downtown Jan. 31.
